Leaving the past behind, and moving on into the future ..

As the last year of my highschool life comes to a end I find myself looking around and realising just how much I am going to miss comming to school, and seeing the faces of people I've been going to school with for the past 13 years. Although more times than enough, I say I hate school and I cannot wait to be done, I know that I will miss some aspects of being in school.

Being in such a small school, and having such a small grad class is somtimes somthing that we look as being a bad thing, however I am realising that having a small grad class is a good thing, knowing every single person you're graduating with on a semi-personal level, and having many people in your grad class whom you are friends with.

I feel blessed to have amazing people around me, amazing teachers, and amazing parents who have been with me, and I will miss the people who I know I wont see as much after graduation and we all go our own seperate ways!

The future ...

Along with all the excitement comes the stress that comes alot with graduation and your changing life. Many aspects of graduation scare me, such as trying to get into a school, finding a job, getting a student loan, and moving out.

For most students including me money is a issue when it comes to their future. In order to get my own place, travel, and go to school I will need help from my parents, a student loan, and a job on the side, all of this and going to school seems to be alot of work!

I personally am taking a year off to work, and get myself settled before trying to go to school. This seems to be the best plan because I would like to be able to afford a nice car, and have money set away for school expenses and things for an apartment such as furniture.

Living in such a small community is a big downfall when it comes to finding work since jobs are not easy to find, and to travel out into Miramichi everyday would be a huge expense since gas prices have recently rised.

"The pressure is on" ~

During graduation lots of things seem to be going on in your life and before you know it there is only a couple months of your highschool career left. Sadly the stres of getting into the right college and gettting the best marks can somtimes make your senior year more stressfull than it is fun.

Luckly for me my classes this term are fairly easy and I only have to write one exam in June, however one major class for me is Biology, and without it my future plans will not happen, so the pressure is on for me to do well and pass the class!!

As It All Begins!

Graduation is something that we all look forward to our whole lives, and when senior year comes the excitement compels and takes over! There's so many aspect to graduation, such as getting your grad ring, grad clothes, getting grad pictures and even more exciting PROM.

Along will all the fun and excitement there is also a stress that comes along with graduation and that is the pressure we feel to succeed and get into the school of our choice, at times it feels like our whole lives rely on this our senior year.

Money is also an issue during grad season, many parents feel the pressure especially if they have more than one child to worry about. For example grad rings are around $500 grad pictures $300, miscellaneous, and most importantly the prom dress which can go upwards of $800!

In the end grad year is about trying your hardest, making memories and having fun!!!!
